  • On a heavily decorated gala dinner on occasion of the 6th Astorian National Holiday, Acting Governor Jackson is giving a speech in his broad Alcantaran accent. As he steps on the stage, he is received with cheers.

    Mah fellah citizens!

We have all come here tonight because we are proud Astorians and because we love and cherish our country. Every year, on the 25th of June we celebrate the great Astorian nation and the values for which it stands: Liberty and justice for all!

    Applause.

But every single one of us does not only feel as a proud Astorian, but also as a proud New Alcantarian!

    More Applause.

Nowhere in this world can one be so free and at the same time experience a sense of justice and community as in New Alcantara. But best of all, we do not stand alone. We never have to fight alone, nor do we have to fear to be left alone in times of danger, because beside us, we have our brothers and sisters of the great Astorian nation: From Assentia, from Astoria State, from Chan-Sen, Freeland and Hybertinia, from Peninsula and the Southern Territories. And as long as this nation stands indivisible, no Astorian shall ever experience injustice or lack of freedom, and no one of our Astorian brothers and sisters shall ever face peril or harm alone!

Because WE are the United States of Astor, and united we stand!

Cheers and applause. Astorian as well as Alcantarian flags are waved.

So let us rejoice tonight, rejoice in living in the greatest country of all times, in the United States of Astor!

Loud cheers. Jackson salutes the flag and leaves the stage.
