Yearly Christmas Recess Resolution

    ich bringe folgenden Antrag ein:

    IN THE SENATE OF THE UNITED STATES


    August 20, 2023


    Mrs. SHORE introduced the following joint resolution:

    A JOINT RESOLUTION

    to amend the Standing Rules of Congress with regard to yearly Christmas recesses.


    Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of Astor in Congress assembled:


    SECTION 1. SIMPLYFING ELECTIONS OF THE CHAIRS.

    Tit. I Sec. 3 Standing Rules of Congress wird nach Ssec. 2 folgende neue Ssec. 2a eingefügt:

      „(2a) Die Sitzungsperiode ist darüber hinaus jährlich von 24. Dezember bis einschließlich 1. Januar unterbrochen (Christmas Recess).“


    SECTION 2. FINAL PROVISION.

    Dieser Beschluss mit seiner Kundmachung durch die Librarian of Congress in Kraft.
