    Mr. Holkins wurde durch eine reguläre Wahl als astorianischer Lieutenant Gouverneur bestätigt.

    Die Assembly wurde hierzu zu einer Special Session zusammengerufen um der Vereidigung des Lieutenant Gouverneurs beizuwohnen.

    Ich bitte den Genannten nun zur Eidesleistung nach vorne zu kommen.


    Bitte heben Sie Ihre rechte Hand und sprechen mir nach.

    Fordert er ihn auf und trägt dann den Eid Stück für Stück vor.


    I do solemnly swear that I will preserve the Constitution of the United States and the Constitution of the State of Astoria and that I will execute the duties of the office on which I am about to enter faithfully and to the best of my ability.
