Imposition of Economic and Diplomatic Sanctions on the Government of Irkanien


By the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of Astor, it is hereby ordered as follows:

Section 1. Policy

The government of Irkanien has engaged in actions that threaten international stability, undermine human rights, and violate the principles of sovereignty and self-determination. In light of these actions, the United States of Astor is implementing comprehensive sanctions to hold the Irkanian regime accountable and to safeguard international peace and security.

Section 2. Economic Sanctions

(a) All assets of the government of Irkanien, its officials, and any affiliated entities under the jurisdiction of the United States of Astor are hereby frozen. Any financial transactions involving these entities are prohibited.

(b) Any financial institution within the jurisdiction of the United States of Astor that facilitates transactions on behalf of the Irkanian government or its officials shall be subject to penalties, including but not limited to fines and exclusion from the Astorian financial system.

(c) A full trade embargo is imposed on Irkanien, prohibiting the import, export, sale, and transfer of goods, services, and technologies to and from Irkanien, with the exception of humanitarian aid as determined by the Department of State in coordination with the Department of Commerce.

(d) All contracts and agreements between Astorian companies and Irkanian state-owned enterprises or entities associated with the Irkanian regime are hereby suspended.

Section 3. Diplomatic and Travel Restrictions

(a) All diplomatic engagements with Irkanien at the federal level are hereby suspended.

(b) The issuance of visas for Irkanian government officials, their family members, and any individuals identified as enablers of the Irkanian regime is suspended.

(c) Any Irkanian government representatives currently present in Astor shall be subject to review by the Department of Homeland Security and the Department of State for potential expulsion.

Section 4. Military and Strategic Measures

(a) The Department of Defense shall maintain an enhanced state of readiness in Saint Vincent and conduct increased surveillance operations in relevant areas.

(b) The intelligence community is directed to increase monitoring efforts concerning Irkanien’s activities and report directly to the National Security Council.

Section 5. Implementation and Enforcement

(a) The responsible Secretaries for State and inside the Office of Administration Management shall oversee the implementation and enforcement of this Executive Order, including the publication of any additional necessary regulations.

(b) The Secretary of Defense, in coordination with the National Security Advisor, shall provide regular updates on any security concerns related to Irkanien’s actions.

(c) Any violation of this Executive Order shall be subject to penalties under applicable federal laws.

Section 6. General Provisions

(a) Nothing in this order shall be construed to impair or otherwise affect the authority granted by law to an executive department or agency.

(b) If any provision of this Executive Order is held to be invalid, the remainder of the order shall not be affected.

Section 7. Effective Date

This Executive Order shall take effect immediately upon signing.
