Executive Order 72

Amending Executive Order 71

WHEREAS Executive Order 47 has set fourth an organization within the Executive Office of the President of the United States;

AND WHEREAS said Order has been amended by Executive Orders 48, 51, 67, and 71;

AND WHEREAS an efficient Government needs to be limited yet well organized;

NOW THEREFORE, I, CATHERINE O’MALLEY, Acting President of the United States of Astor, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and the laws of the United States, herby order as follows:

Section 1 – Amending Executive Order No. 71.
Die Executive Order 71, verordnet am 25. Juni 2022, wird geändert wie folgt:

(1) Die Subsections 2, 3 und 4 werden gestrichen.

(2) In Subsection 5 wird der zweite Halbsatz gestrichen.

(3) Die Funktion des White House Communications Director ist ex officio durch den White House Press Secretary wahrzunehmen.

Section 2 – Empowering the Librarian of Congress.

Die Librarian of Congress wird ermächtigt, die in Section 1 genannten Streichungen an Executive Order 71 vorzunehmen.
