Executive Order 70

Re-Establishing the Department of the Interior

WHEREAS the Federal Administration Act vests the power of the creation of Federal Departments in the President of the United States,

AND WHEREAS Executive Order 52, most recently amended by Executive Order 60, has provided for the Organization of the Federal Executive Departments,

AND WHEREAS the Department of Commerce is given a range of responsibilities exceeding the field of Commerce and Trade,

AND WHEREAS the wide range of tasks shall be visible and clear to all citizens,

AND WHERAS all fields of duty ought to be equally represented in a Department's denotation,


NOW THEREFORE, I, EUGENE WOLF, President of the United States of Astor, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and the laws of the United States, herby order as follows:


Section 1: Amendment of Executive Order No. 52

Section 6 des Executive Order No. 52 vom 29. März 2018 erhält folgende Fassung:


Section 6 - Department of the Interior

(1) Das Department of the Interior ist zuständig für

a) die Analyse, Förderung und Regulierung der Wirtschaft sowie des Handels zwischen den Bundesstaaten und mit dem Ausland,

b) die Infrastruktur der Vereinigten Staaten und die Regulierung des Transportwesens,

c) den Schutz der Umwelt und natürlichen Ressourcen,

d) die Sozialpolitik der Vereinigten Staaten,

e) die Verwaltung und Instandhaltung der Ländereien des Bundes,

f) die Beziehungen zu und Kooperationen mit den Stämmen der Ureinwohner.

(2) Soweit in den Gesetzen und Verordnungen das Department of Commerce in Bezug genommen wird, so sind die Regelungen entsprechend auf das Department of the Interior anzuwenden.

(3) Es gilt der Organisationsplan, der dem Office of Administration Management am 09.11.2019 vorgelegt wurde (Appendix IV).


Section 2: Coming-into force

(1) Dieser Exekutiverlass tritt mit seiner Verkündigung in Kraft.

(2) Die Behördenleiter und sonstige Verantwortliche sind angewiesen und ermächtigt, die zur Umsetzung dieses Erlasses erforderlichen Schritte anzuordnen und einzuleiten.
