  • My Fellow Astorians,

Thank you for joining me today as we discuss the future of our great nation. This election is about more than choosing leaders—it’s about choosing a vision for the United States of Astor.

Governor Kracht and Senator Glenwood have laid out their criticisms, but let's address the facts.

They claim this administration has "fattened public service" and spent excessively on new departments. Let me be clear: the creation of the Department of Homeland Security and the Department of HELP was not about bureaucracy; it was about delivering real results for Astorians. These agencies have improved border security, modernized our immigration system, and brought stakeholders together to tackle educational inequities. That’s not waste—that’s investment in our future.

Governor Kracht also criticizes our economic policies. Yet under our leadership, we passed the Recover Act, ensuring support for families and businesses rebuilding after war. We're working hard to pass a balanced budget that prioritizes middle-class families. The real question is: Where was this sense of urgency from the GOP when we proposed relief programs they consistently voted against?

And what about foreign trade and diplomacy? Under Secretary Silverbloom’s leadership, we've reestablished Astor as a respected global partner. Talks with Roldem are advancing, with the potential for deeper alliances and even statehood for their people. Joining the International Conference of Nations will open new avenues for trade and security. This administration has not sat idle—we've strengthened alliances and worked toward sustainable peace.

As for organizational reform of the armed forces, it is ongoing and deliberate. Reforming military structures isn't about rushing—it’s about ensuring the best outcomes for readiness and effectiveness. That’s leadership, not showmanship.

Now, let’s talk about what we’ve accomplished and what lies ahead.

We’ve rebuilt communities, provided restitution for war victims, and created new opportunities for veterans. With the Fairness for Our Veterans Bill, we’re finally giving our heroes the dedicated agency they deserve.

We’ve improved border security through innovative technology and partnerships while expanding legal pathways for migration.

We’ve advanced education reform by uniting local, state, and federal leaders. Together, we’re closing achievement gaps and empowering every child to succeed.

Looking forward, our priorities are clear:

    • Relief for the Middle Class: We will implement tax reforms to ease burdens on families and small businesses.
    • Education Reform on the Finish Line: By securing bipartisan support, we will finalize policies that make higher education affordable.
    • Economic Growth: Expanding renewable energy and tech sectors will create jobs while preserving our environment.
    • Healthcare Access: We will work to lower prescription drug costs and ensure every family has access to quality care.

But we cannot achieve this alone.

To continue this progress, we need a Congress that reflects the will of the people. The Democratic Party must reclaim the House and strengthen our Senate majority. Only with a unified vision can we secure these advancements for generations to come.

Governor Kracht and Senator Glenwood claim to offer pragmatism. But pragmatism without compassion, vision, or truth is hollow. They call for solving problems, but their record shows obstruction and inaction.

Astor, our choice is clear: to build on the progress we’ve made or to turn back to a time of division and stagnation. Together, we will choose progress. Together, we will win.

Thank you, and may God bless the United States of Astor.
