USEO Director Term of Office Act

    Seventy-Third Congress of the United States of Astor



    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of Astor in Congress assembled:



    An Act

    to amend the Federal Elections Act with respect to the office of director.


    SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

    (1) Dieses Bundesgesetz soll als „USEO Director Term of Office Act“ zitiert werden.


    SECTION 2. AMENDING THE FEDERAL ELECTIONS ACT.

    Chp. I Sec. 1 Ssec. 3 Federal Elections Act (FEA) lautet neu:

    „(3) Die Leitung des USEO und alle damit verbundenen Aufgaben werden durch einen Direktor ausgeübt, der durch den Kongress bestellt wird. Seine Amtszeit endet durch Rücktritt, Tod oder Ernennung eines neuen Direktors. Eine Neuwahl ist, frühestens nach Ablauf von sechs Monaten nach der Ernennung, auf Antrag eines Mitglieds des Kongresses durchzuführen; eine Wiederberufung ist unbegrenzt zulässig.“


    SECTION 3. FINAL PROVISION.

    Dieses Bundesgesetz tritt mit 1. März 2022 in Kraft.
