Mrs. SHORE from Freeland introduced the following bill:

A BILL

to amend the Federal Police Forces Act of 2015 with respect to the Coast Guard and for related purposes.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of Astor in Congress assembled:

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

Dieses Bundesgesetz soll als „Coast Guard War Provisions Act“ zitiert werden.

SECTION 2. CORRECTING LAW PERTAINING TO THE U. S. COAST GUARD.

(1) Im Titel von Art. IV Sec. 2 des Federal Police Forces Act wird das Wort „Coastal“ durch „Coast“ ersetzt.

(2) In Ssec. 1 derselben Bestimmung wird die Wendung „Chief of Staff of the Navy“ durch „Assistant Secretary of Defense for the Navy“ ersetzt.

SECTION 3. CORRECTING LAW PERTAINING TO OTHER PROVISIONS.

(1) In Art. I Sec. 2 Ssec. 1 FPFA wird die Bezeichnung „Commander“ durch „Commandant“ ersetzt.

(2) In Art. III Sec. 3 Ssec. 3 wird nach der Wendung „Secretary of Defense“ der Ausdruck „ernannt“ eingefügt.

SECTION 4. FINAL PROVISIONS.

Dieses Bundesgesetz tritt mit seiner Kundmachung in Kraft.
