Wir haben uns heute hier versammelt um der offiziellen Amtseinführung von Mr. Conway als Governor of Freeland beizuwohnen.

Ich darf Alexander Conway dazu hier nach vorne bitten.

Mr. Governor-elect,

bitte legen Sie ihre linke Hand auf die Verfassung, heben Sie ihre rechte Hand zum Schwur und sprechen Sie mir nach:

I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support, obey and defend the Constitution of the United States and the Constitution of this Free State of Freeland and that I will discharge the duties of my office with fidelity.

Alternativ kann der Eid auf Barnstorvisch abgelegt werden.

Je jure solennellement (ou affirme) que je soutiendrai, obéir et défendre la Constitution des États-Unis et de la Constitution de État libre de la Frélande et que je remplirai les devoirs de ma charge avec fidélité.

Der Schwur kann um eine religiöse Beteuerung ergänzt werden
