Mr. WOLF introduced the following bill:

A BILL

To smartly modify the identity regulations introduced by the FAIR Act.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of Astor in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

Dieses Gesetz soll als „Smart Modification of Identity Regulations with better Knowledge Act“ bezeichnet und als "SMIRK Act" abgekürzt werden.

SECTION 2. AMENDING THE UNITED STATES CITIZENSHIP ACT.

In Section 10 Subsection 2 des United States Citizenship Act werden die Worte "einschließlich des Heimatstaates der Federal-ID" gestrichen.

SECTION 3. AMENDING THE FAIR ADJUSTMENT OF IDENTITY REGISTRATION ACT.

(1) Section 1 Subsection 2 des Fair Adjustement of Identity Registration Act wird aufgehoben.

(2) Section 2 Subsection 2 des Fair Adjustement of Identity Registration Act ist nicht mehr auf Section 1 Subsection 2 des United States Citizenship Act anzuwenden.

SECTION 4. COMING-INTO FORCE.

Dieses Gesetz tritt entsprechend der verfassungsrechtlichen Vorgaben in Kraft.
