Die Wahllokale öffnen heute um 17:30 Uhr und schließen in drei Tagen am Freitag, 01.05.2020 um 17:30 Uhr.

11th Constitutional Amendment Bill

Article 1 - Introduction
Artikel VII, Section 2, der Verfassung des Staates Laurentianas wird folgt geändert:

"Wahlen sollen frei, gleich, geheim und unmittelbar sein. Ausgenommen von der geheimen Wahl ist die Nachwahl zum Gouverneur von Laurentiana."

Article 2 - Final Provision
Diese Verfassungsänderung tritt mit Abschluss ihrer verfassungsgemäßen Ratifizierung in Kraft.

Gubernatorial By-Elections Clarification Bill

Section 1 – Amending the Laurentiana Elections and Plebiscite Act
(1) Dem Laurentiana Elections and Plebiscite Act, 2018 in Fassung vom 12.09.2018 wird unter Section 3 das folgende angefügt:
"(7) Für die Durchführung der Nachwahlen zum Gouverneursamt ist der General Court zuständig. Der Speaker of the General Court kann zur Durchführung dieser Nachwahlen Amtshilfe beim United States Electoral Office erbitten. Die Feststellung der zur Teilnahme an der Wahl Berechtigten, ihrer Fristen sowie des Ergebnisses ergibt sich aus den jeweils gültigen Standing Orders und obliegt ausschließlich dem Speaker of the General Court oder seinen Vertretern."

Section 2 – Entry into force
Dieses Gesetz tritt mit seiner Verkündigung in Kraft.

Mr. Speaker,

ich beantrage, dass der General Court gemäß Verfassung, Art. VI, Sec. 5 feststellen möge, dass die Governor seit mehr als 14 Tagen unentschuldigt ihren Amtsgeschäften ferngeblieben ist und damit automatisch ihr Amt verloren hat.

Dieser Antrag bedarf der Unterstützung von noch mindestens einem weiteren State Senator.
